Unpack the legacy test files :doc:`sample-data`.

Run the tests::

    $ cd /path/to/where/stopeight
    $ pytest stopeight

Show SVG results from the parser::

    $ eog SOMETEST.out.svg

To remove the check pattern transparent background go to menu (Image Viewer -> Preferences -> Image View -> Transparent Parts -> As custom color).
